Specifically, within the MediLocker feature, which is a core component of the Athayush Platform, we collect and securely store sensitive medical records provided by you. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnostic reports, prescription details, and immunization records.
During your platform visit, Athayush and its service providers may collect anonymous information from server logs, cookies, and pixel tags. This includes data on your platform usage, device specifications (unique identifiers, operating system, language, region, time zone, network information), and interaction patterns. Athayush uses cookies for enhanced user experience and service personalization. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser/device settings, but this may affect platform functionality.

- To members of the Athayush team in case of emergency when you are unable to grant authorization due to the patient being unconscious where immediate treatment is necessary to save a life or prevent serious harm, the principle of beneficence takes precedence, and treatment may proceed without consent.
- To insurance companies, hospitals, physicians, or other healthcare providers for service delivery, claims processing, and related administrative purposes.Â
- This includes sharing your MediLocker data with your explicit consent, which you grant by using the MediLocker feature and authorizing access to specific providers.
- To enforce platform Terms of Service.
- To comply with legal processes or protect legal rights.
- To governmental bodies as required by law.
Athayush may share aggregated statistical data with clients and partners without revealing individual user identities. In the event of a business acquisition, Athayush may transfer data to the acquiring party, whose privacy policy will then apply.

Athayush implements robust security measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or disclosure, including encryption and secure server storage.
Specifically regarding MediLocker:

- Access to your MediLocker data is strictly controlled through user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- You retain full control over who can access your MediLocker data, with options to grant or revoke access to healthcare providers or authorized individuals.

- Regular backups are performed to prevent data loss, and we maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Athayush implements robust security measures and adheres to industry best practices to protect your Personal Information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim all liability for security breaches that are not due to our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and devices. We strongly recommend that you use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication for added security, especially for access to MediLocker.
Athayush warns against phishing attacks and advises users to be vigilant and report any suspicious communications or requests for Personal Information to the Grievance Officer immediately. Athayush will never request sensitive information such as passwords or payment details via unsolicited emails or messages.
Athayush does not sell, rent, or trade Personal Information for commercial purposes.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, Athayush and you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute amicably through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation within 45 days, either party may elect to pursue mediation administered by a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. If mediation is unsuccessful in resolving the dispute within 90 days of commencement, then either party may seek resolution through the courts of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes.
